SkyDisc is a disc golf score-tracking application operated by a sole proprietor registered in Finland (Business ID 3368988-7) (the “Service Provider”, “we”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the service and verify gameplay. Sponsor links may use the partner site’s own cookies when you visit them.
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Passwords are stored encrypted (hashed) and data is kept on secured servers. We use Google Firebase for secure data handling (encryption) and push notifications. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your personal data — including uploaded images — is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers (hard delete), except where we must keep it to comply with the law.
You have the right to access, correct, delete and export your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can delete your account in the app. To exercise other rights, contact support@skydisc.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
SkyDisc is not directed at children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
We carefully select cooperation partners whose advertising and sponsored missions are appropriate for users of all ages and suitable for SkyDisc users (for example disc golf shops, courses, clubs and events). We do not accept sponsorship that promotes gambling, violence, adult content, alcohol or similar inappropriate material.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version applies when you use the Service. We will notify you of material changes in the app or by email. Your continued use of SkyDisc after the updated policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of SkyDisc and takes effect when you install the app or register an account.
These Terms govern your use of the SkyDisc disc golf application and website (the “Service”), operated by a sole proprietor registered in Finland (Business ID 3368988-7). By registering or using SkyDisc you agree to these Terms.
You must provide a valid email address and choose a username and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. You must be old enough to consent under the laws of your country.

The SkyDisc name, logo and brand, the app’s user interface, visual design, structure and technical architecture, rating and statistics calculations, and courses and layouts provided by the Service (not user-created) are owned by the Service Provider. You may not copy, imitate, reverse engineer or exploit them without prior written permission.
You keep ownership of photos and content you upload. Uploaded images are stored on our servers and shown to other users in the app, and you grant us a licence to store and display them so the feature works. You are solely responsible for what you upload. We may manually review and remove any content, and uploading inappropriate, offensive or illegal images may lead to removal of the content and deletion of your account. Friends can react to your posts, but cannot comment or post text.
SkyDisc is free to use. The free version does not show third-party ad-network advertising (such as programmatic banner or video ads). We may show sponsored content from selected cooperation partners — see section 6. SkyDisc Premium is an optional monthly auto-renewing subscription offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play. SkyDisc does not sell subscriptions directly — you purchase only through those stores, and Apple or Google processes your payment under their own terms and privacy policies.

Premium does not remove or hide sponsored content from cooperation partners.
The subscription price is shown in the app store at the time of purchase. We do not charge you directly and do not list a fixed price in these Terms.
Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. When it renews, the fee is charged to your Apple ID account (iOS) or Google Play account (Android).
How to cancel:
If you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of your current paid period. Cancellation takes effect when that period ends.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their store policies, through your store account. For how we store subscription status on our servers (such as premium status and expiry), see our Privacy Policy above.
SkyDisc does not show third-party ad-network advertising in the app (such as programmatic banner or video ads). We may show sponsored content from cooperation partners we select carefully, including sponsored feed cards, sponsored missions (which may offer partner discount codes), loading-screen branding, and promotional messages about optional Premium features. Sponsored content may be shown to all users, including Premium subscribers — a subscription does not turn off or hide sponsor content.

If you follow a sponsor link, you may leave the app and visit the partner’s website, which is governed by that partner’s terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party websites.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be discontinued.
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages, loss of data, or inaccuracies in stats, ratings or maps.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by Finnish law, and mandatory consumer protection rights remain unaffected.
